Meet Como
Dental Comfort Dog • Professional Good Boy

With his fluffy coat, gentle personality, and heart as big as his paws, Como brings a little extra warmth and comfort to the Ann Arbor’s Dentist family.
Como is a European Bernese Mountain Dog born at the end of January 2023. He joined the Dobracki family just in time for Easter and became part of our office family later that April.
From the very beginning, Como has been a calm, gentle soul. It didn’t take long for our team to fall in love with him! His sweet nature makes him a wonderful addition to an office where helping patients feel comfortable and cared for is so important.
Como joined the team with some pretty big paws to fill, following in the footsteps of Destin, our beloved original dental comfort dog. As Como continues learning and growing, we look forward to seeing him develop his own special ways of bringing smiles and comfort to our patients.

Meet Oli Pop

Small in size but overflowing with personality, Oli Pop is the newest four-legged member of the Ann Arbor’s Dentist family! With his sweet expression and irresistible charm, this little guy has been winning hearts since day one.
Oli Pop is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who joined the Dobracki family in May 2026. He was specially chosen for his striking resemblance to his big brother, Como. Although they may be very different in size, the two share a look that makes them an especially adorable pair!
From the moment he arrived, Oli stole our hearts. With his lovable personality, expressive eyes, and undeniable puppy charm, it didn’t take long for him to become a treasured part of the family.
As our newest comfort dog in training, Oli is still learning the ropes. Every day brings new experiences, important lessons, and opportunities to grow. He has some pretty big paws to follow, with Como showing him the way and Destin’s wonderful legacy inspiring the tradition of comfort and kindness that makes our office so special.
While Oli may still be figuring out his future role, one thing is already certain: he has completely mastered the art of making people smile!

Oli Pop is just beginning his journey. As he continues his training, he’s learning how to be comfortable in new surroundings, build confidence, and develop the calm, gentle presence that makes a wonderful comfort dog. We can’t wait to watch his personality blossom and see the special ways he’ll make his own mark on our practice!

Our Original Dental Comfort Dog

Some members of our team leave a lasting impression. Destin left paw prints on the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Destin was so much more than a beloved office dog. He was a trained Emotional Support Animal and Therapy Dog, a patient favorite, and a familiar face throughout the Ann Arbor community. His gentle nature and remarkable ability to sense when someone needed comfort made him an unforgettable part of our dental family.
Destin had a special gift for recognizing stress and anxiety. He seemed to know exactly when a patient needed a little extra reassurance, offering a calming presence and a welcome distraction during dental care. Many patients specifically requested Destin by their side, and some even preferred his comforting company to sedative medication.
Throughout his time with us, Destin helped hundreds of patients feel more relaxed and supported. His kindness, intelligence, and loving personality made dental visits a little easier and a whole lot more memorable.

LIFE BEYOND THE DENTAL OFFICE
Adventures with Destin
When Destin wasn’t busy comforting patients, he had quite the adventurous side! He loved going snowboarding with Dr. Dobracki, visiting children’s health centers, bringing smiles to retirement communities, and, of course, chasing squirrels. He especially loved the chase!
Destin came from an impressive family, with both of his parents being national champion show dogs known for their intelligence and wonderful temperament. Destin certainly carried those qualities with him, along with a personality that was uniquely his own.
A fun fact we’ll always love: Destin’s full name was Destin “Kiss on The Beach” Dobracki. A special name for a truly special dog!

Forever Our Good Boy
Destin was never just a dog at Ann Arbor’s Dentist. He was a friend, a source of comfort, and a treasured member of our family. He helped turn moments of fear into moments of calm, brought smiles when they were needed most, and showed us how much love and reassurance can come from simply being by someone’s side.
Although he is no longer physically with us, his memory lives on in the patients he comforted, the lives he touched, and the tradition of kindness he helped create within our practice.
